I learned how to formulate shampoo bars in 2020 when I was looking for a perfect solid shampoo that would be pH balanced, gentle on the scalp, nourishing for the hair, sustainable, and made with naturally derived ingredients.

When I created my perfect bar - PURE, I was very pleased with the results and decided to launch Wild Ona.

Since then, I haven't stopped learning, experimenting, and testing, shampoo bars have become my passion and obsession.

In this ebook, I share with you 10 of my best formulas for various hair types and everything you need to know about making perfect shampoo & conditioner bars.

Written in an easy-to-follow and concise way it is suitable for beginners as well as advanced makers who wish to add a line of shampoo & and conditioner bars to their small business. (If you also want to learn how to make big batches and give your products beautiful packaging, then you may be interested in Masterclass).

Please note, that it’s a digital product that will be available for download in PDF format upon purchase.

Q&A:

Q: What is the pH level of the shampoo bars and will I need to measure and adjust it?
A: The pH level is around 5.5. You will not need to measure or adjust pH level because the ingredients we’re using have optimum pH.

Q: What ingredients will I need and can I source them in my country?
A: I have specifically chosen ingredients that are widely accessible. You will also find a list of worldwide suppliers. If you live in a remote area, you might need to import the ingredients from your neighbouring country.
For shampoo bars, the main ingredients will be: Sodium cocoyl isethionate powder, Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (optional), Cocamidopropyl betaine liquid, BTMS-25, Cetyl alcohol, Panthenol Powder, Oils, Butters, essential oils, botanical powders & clays (optional), preservative
For Conditioner bars: BTMS-25, Cetyl alcohol, Panthenol Powder, Oils, Butters, essential oils, preservative.

Q: Do I need to invest in a significant amount of equipment?
A: Not when you're just starting out. You will only need a few Pyrex jugs, spatulas, and a reliable scale. Additionally, it is important to have a respirator to protect against inhalation of dust particles. I have included links to the recommended equipment.
